Well, you missed NewtDB, but I understand that the author is not taking
registration anymore, so it's a dead issue. I think it's the best of
the lot, except for being a bit slow on sorting if you have a large
database.

In Overview mode, tap the name of the field (underneath the area where
it says "Browser") and it will give you a pop-up menu to select which
field you want to be in the browser window. Apparently you can have
only two at any given time. You can do searches or just press on the
letters at the bottom of the window to navigate or select data. Other
navigation tasks are handle by the system arrows and overview button of
the Newt.
The big drawback in FilePad is that there is apparently no way to have
a date field, so I can't sort records by date. This is a deal-killer.
Otherwise I like FilePad just fine.
