I need consent from Mr. Bush to talk about his political positions?

I need consent from my local grocer to discuss his price of New York steak
in a public internet forum?

Again, where is freedom of expression?

Also, I am confounded at how anyone in this list could share or monetarily
"profit" from the modest price decrease that was made at the sole discretion
of the seller!

Folks if I am wrong, please instruct me, but I had thought this list was
rather open and free to all members of the Newton community. I was not aware
we needed "consent" before being given the "right" to speak.

I do not like this list turning into anything other than members helping
members. However, I just don't understand how someone can take the concept of
someone's EFFORT and turn it into a freedom of speech issue? How you end up
morphing it into a freedom of speech issue is the epitome of misrepresentation
and then making an issue of denying freedom of speech is a total fabrication.
I said you did not have the right to share in someone's EFFORT without their
consent. I did not say you needed consent to discuss or debate the issue.
Nice try at slight of hand, sorry, but your argument has been exposed as
empty and misleading.

Obviously, it is a great result. I applaud those who instead of whining to
the list about high prices, took action and the resultant cost save for the
list shows that an open process works. But, it happened because someone took
action. They didn't just whine about it.

Enough, I'm done, I will not respond again.
