To the defense of the MP1x0, I have a MP120 that I use every single day. =
Yes, it can't connect to the internet or play mp3's (a trick I think is =
fun but, in this day of mp3 players with gigs of space, kind of =
impractical). But, through it, I balance my checkbook (Pocket Quicken), =
read eBooks, play games, futz around with the little NS404 drum machine =
and that's in addition to, of course, dates, notes, my travel alarm =
clock, etc. Plus, it fits comfortably in my back pocket (until I sit =
down, of course).
It may not be the fastest thing around, but it does all I need it to do =
with no problems. PLus, it cost me like $10.00 as opposed to the price =
of a good MP2100. So, I guess, to whoever asked this, it just depends on =
what you need/want out of your Newton.
