Hello Dan:

I sent a few files for you to review. I agree with you that a weakness of VoiceNotes is the restriction that an individual registratio must be purchased for each Newton one owns. Still, I'd like to get a copy of it some day... [Sigh] Financial constraints prohibit me from making any software purchases at the moment, and there's a few Newton apps I really want!

I forget the restriction on 'PowerRecorder' -- I think it allows for free trial use for a period of forty-five days. Something like that.

Never heard of that. Sounds like a handy utility. Probably not as nice
as VoiceNotes, but sounds like it has two important features: records
fairly large sounds and works by a flick of the power switch (great if
you have to record something in a hurry).
I would buy voicenotes, but I don't like the idea of it being "locked"
to one newton. If that Newt dies and I can't get in touch with the
developer (both strong possibilities), I am up a creak.
