Hi Guys,
I was just flipping channels and ran across this movie on the Sci-Fi
channel. Dean Koontz's Mr. Murder, a TV movie from 1998 has Stephen
Baldwin's character confronting a clone of his that was developed to be
the perfect killer. He accesses classified info about the project
bypassing the locked files on a Newton 2100 that Baldwin steals from
scientist that created the clone.
Funny thing, the password screen is a mocked-up paired down Mac OS
classic interface with an on-screen keyboard that looks like the one
that the Newton has. It even has the green screen backlight and Baldwin
is seen tapping the on-screen keyboard with the actual stylus for the
2100. Once he guesses the password though, the screen switches to a full
color 3D interface and he is able to recieve a text message/email
wirelessly even though there is clearly no PC cards inserted or
communications device connected to it.
Just one more to add to the Wiki list...
Later,
Jonathan
