Re: [NTLK] Press, bookmaker, and making AVI backdrops

That's odd...
I've never had any problems creating clean greyscale
images in Press. The way I do it is open Word, insert
the image, then convert the word document to RTF, then
import the RTF into Press. That always works for me! I
don't do any preconversions or anything...and it
doesn't matter what format the image is in in the
first place either...
Of course, I haven't done very many, and they usually
are opening pages for the books I create.
I can't remember which books have cover page images,
but I think if you go to my books section, the flyboy
book has a cover image...Unfortunatly, I lost quite a
few files when I lost my server functionality and had
to do my own serving again...
I'll have to do some more experimenting...but not
until late next month...I'm going on vacation next
week and don't want to be disturbed!
