Howdy Folks,
I recently finished an illustrated newton eBook for the AvailWorks 3.0 User's Manual. I put this document together with the application itself and the related .PDF files into what I call an "AvailWorks Distribution" folder. I sent it all to DJ for posting on the wonderful library archive that DJ, Marty, and Matt Howe are maintaining for supplementing our knowledge base. This distribution is now freeware, thanks to Mr. Don Vollum (You'll recall he gave the okay last year to let us freely use the program and related files).
I discovered something in reading the AvailWorks ClipArt documentation: Originally, a total of nineteen(19 separate ClipArt libraries existed for importing clip art into AvailWorks or other newton apps.
I found the following ClipArt libraries: ClipArt.pkg, ClipArtS.pkg, ClipArt13.pkg, ClipArt14pkg, ClipArt15pkg, ClipArt16pkg, ClipArt17pkg, CipArt18pkg, and ClipArt19pkg. THAT means we're missing ClipArt libraries 1 12! Turns out from the documentation that these missing libraries have newsletter templates and other great content that could add quite a bit of functionality to AvailWorks. If anybody knows where to get access to these missing library files, please post a notice here on the bulletin board.
Oh, and DJ should probably have the new illustrated AvailWorks User Manual eBook loaded on the wonderful library site soon! Ahem, and there's lots of OTHER great eBooks available there as well!
