Does anyone know about the legality of him selling SmallTalk on eBay?
I thought that this was given to the community as Freeware and not to
be sold. I wish the author would make a stink about this to eBay. I
thought falls under the software copyright conditions that needed the
permission of the author for him to sell. He doesn't mention having
the right to sell this and he provides no original Media nor
Documentation he just emails the software... it's readily available on
www.unna.org after doing a manual search...
-- A first idea i have is that Ferdi PROBABLY bought time ago a number of unlocking serial numbers for Smalltalk, although so, i completely agree with Sonny that Ferdi must be authorized by the software author, and he can't sell anymore software that is now free. I know that some software has become freeware and part of Unna databases thanks to Victor on his tacking contact with developers, and i really don't know of any other who had been able to take contribute on Unna's just bringing contact with software production houses, (please sorry if i am not able to mention any other than Victor) so i think that who got the mail of the Smalltalk copyright owner just have to inform him about Ferdi bad contribution on Newtonians.
