My experience hints not to a defective quality of files but to a problematic
implementation of the installing procedure on the Newton side. On average
I get a reboot with every fourth sound file I try to install, yet repeating the
process results in getting the job done almost every time. "Downgrading"
of the files from 128 kbps / 44 khz / stereo to 32 kbps / 22 khz / mono
works just fine with Goldwave (Windows stuff).
Best,
Marcus
