Alex,
I just tried NCU with Tiger/Classic and it works OK. I think it's
possible you haven't heard before that the appletalk on the Newton is
a special simplified version called Appletalk Data Stream Protocol
(ADSP). You need the Appletalk ADSP Tool extension installed in the
Classic System Folder>Extensions Folder in order for NCU to work.
This extension is part of a full NCU install.
