Hi Mark,

Okay, remove all power (remove the battery and leave without AC power) for=

anout 5 hours to bleed the SuperCap=2E After 5 hours, reinsert the batter=
attach the AC power, and do a reset (hit the rest button after inseting th=
battery and plugging in the AC adapter)=2E The 2100 should come up fine=2E=

This is a relatively common problem, and the above is the most commonly
quoted solution=2E Semms to be peculiar to the 2100=2E

Subject: [NTLK] What to do about fixing a Newton 2100

Hello All,
My personal Newton 2100 has died mysteriously (will
not power from an AC or Battery) and just wondering
what the possible culprit for this might be, I have
about 8 other Logic Boards, and some other odd parts,
but I would hate to start taking it apart if I it
something mild=2E=2E=2E =20

Plus, I *Need* to get my Data off there are 200+
address' and phone numbers I need, plus some games I
paid for=2E Even if it is dead and non-fixable I need
the Data=2E=20

And advice?

Please let me know=2E

Thanks So Much!
Mark Jozaitis
