Thing is, an osx light would mean some apps may not run. OSX is a tight
integration.

Maybe it will be a whole new OS made especially for mobile computing.
Let's wait and see.

Intel was used on NeXT don't forget so Steve's Intel switch is/was
expected.

My opinions:
Apple glorified the PPC, remember all those speed tests? What happened?

PPC G5 increased speed by 45% over a year on the high end while intel
went up 25%. All these are avg's, hmm PPC rules in that arena. Let's
see what happens with Intel. Intel still invests about 3 times more the
IBM though. Try 6 billion a year not 2 for IBM.

Intel to go 65 nano meter while IBM lives on the 90 nano meter scape.
Good.

Steve surely knows. Very intelligent but eccentric man!

PS A good PDA is yet to come to satisfy the Newtoneers!
