Therein lies the problem. You think, he thinks, etc. On the good
side, he is being understanding and realizing this, and isn't causing
a fit. You sound used to Newtons... maybe that backlight was brighter
than you remembered it? If it really was dim, but you were just used
to it, then the buyer who is new to Newtons might have a different
view.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.
