Don't know if someone pointed this but the next generation of iPods
will have a different chip (AMOF a new version of the same controller)
which will be able to manage a lot of multmedia files. This will bring
iPod head to head with newer players i.e. => movies, external add-ons
to phone capabilities, fm radio, etc...

IMHO, this is the direction Apple will take.
