I have tried the volume, it makes no difference. Neither does a
different pair or earphones. The interference is a sort of whistling
noise, the audio out can be heard over it, but it is very annoying. I
have 2 working eMates, both have this problem, they have both been
tested with two different pairs of earphones. When the AC adaptor is
plugged in, the noise changes, it becomes slightly higher pitched, If I
can sort out some web space, I may be able to upload an audio file of
the noise if this would help anyone.
