I would say...yes, no problem from what I see. I have a Polstar PGM-111
and it also supports NMEA 2.2 protocol. It works perfectly with my
MP120 2.0 and GPS Map.

The only other questions that should be asked is what type Newton? And,
after that, what type of interface? This unit is similar to those we've
been working with (DJ, Adriano, and I) this past few months. It offers
a PS/2 style (female) connector with optional adpaters.

You'll have to research the different adapters available or simply
contact Adriano and point him to the pin-outs PDF. He'll be able to
make you a custom NewtNav. Here are some links:
