Hello all! I'm a newbie to the world of Newtontalk, but not to the
Newton itself.

Paul, allow me to join your conversation,

Sadly, my powerbook has no Ir port. I know some of the earlier models
did. They phased it out during the reign of the early G4s.

As for the bootstrap problem, I suffer from it too. I'm missing the
ethernet driver for my card (is there anyone in Canada who I can send
a Flash card to?).
