Paul Guyot already did a lot of the ground work for this and open
sourced it in the DCL project. Escale is not complete, it's just a
proof of concept really, but any competent developer can go look at the
source and improve and or upgrade it. I believe this will occur at
somepoint, but it's been a while, so who knows.

I think the eventual OSX utility will surpass NCU handily.
