I was looking for a way to tap my way to powering off or sleeping, etc.
_without_ using the manual power slide switch so as to extend the life
of the slide switch. Fortunately, DASHBOARD has a was to configure
"shortcuts" so I set up a new one based on the letter "X" mapped to the
Dashboard "sleep" command and saved.

Now all I have to do to shut down my 2100 is draw a quick letter "X" in
the Dashboard input box and the Newton powers off!
