Using a 2000, I'm doing a full backup to a 4MB flash card.
I can do a full backup if I do not check the "backup all packages" on
the FlashCard slip, but if the box is checked the backup the procedure
runs without a hitch to the point finally freezing at the "backing up
packages" alert and I have to do a soft reset.
All my packages and all my data are internal.
All I want to accomplish is to clone everything from the Newton's
internal memory to the FlashCard so if I loose or break the Newton I can
plug the card into another Newton and just pick up where I left off.
The only thing I know of that has changed between being able and not
able to finish a full backup to the card is that I now have NewtToDo
1.11 installed.
So at this point, before I unwind everything I've installed, I'm
wondering if I'm missing something stupid here, or if I really may need
to perhaps uninstall NewtToDo, then reinstall it.
Advice needed.
John
