IIRC i read here in NTLK someone reporting news about the OQO project
as it was offered to Apple to put OSX on it first,
and after having received Apple's negative response,
OQO's people put Windows system into it.
Hi read somewhere on the web that Apple
is working to realize a sort of "lighter" version of OSX
optimized for automatic sync and wireless capabilities.
If/when such OS will come out, will they probably make their own OQO
at Apple?
OQO is fascinating, but integrated keyboard is for babies hands
and integrated display is big when thinking about a dedicated PDA
style OS,
but i can't imagine to have a nice experience looking at a complete
desktop system
running on a display smaller than 8".
If the OQO could be sold without keyboard and display
maybe it would cost less than a half its actual price,
and considering that OQO can run on its own batteries,
it could be a nice Windows substitute to the Mac Mini.
Just some thoughts.

well even if it is windows it is one cool device, One of the
developers was from Apple, if i had the cash i'd buy one right away
especially since there is OS X running around that will run on intel.
And you could use inkwell with it also i think.
That said if anybody wants to buy me one i'll give ya all my newtons,
Psions, and accessories for it :)
