Thanks a lot for the reply.

Evidently I misunderstood your wiki page and I thought you got also NCU
at 230400 on OS X with the Keyspan. Now I can stop trying with NCU.

I can do some more test, just for fun, with Escale but so far I
experienced a continuous series of crashes of the application.
