[NTLK] keyboard-only on 2100

Well, I'm trying to gain access to my cracked-screen-2100, and finally
figured out the command-period sequence to get past those pop-up
windows with only an X in them, but now I can't get the keyboard to
type my password! Anybody know if this is possible?

And, if I get past that, how can I access the Extras drawer so that I
can back up my internal store onto a card? Any hints on this? I guess,
in general, navigation of the system via keyboard only is what I need.
Any pointers? I know there used to be a site that discussed some of
this, but I can't think of where it is, and so far, not found it on
the wiki... TIA
