Wouldn't that method make a nice alternative to the loaner card program?
Extract an image of a card with all the required networking files on it
(well, the loaner card, basically) and put it on the Net somewhere.
Anyone who has a pc laptop with a PC Card reader could either run a live
distribution of e.g. Ubuntu or install VMWare Player with the Ubuntu
image to get the files on their card.
