Ah, the answer I'm suggesting really is to hace the Tab and part of
the cover heated up bit and the a slight bend introduced... you
would then cool it in cool water to hold the shape..

I've dont the with other plastic parts and it has worked... though not
yet tested on the Newton Battery Cover yet... maybe one of these days
if someone has a spare to donate to me to testr it - otherwise someone
else could try this... hasn't anyone done this when they were building
models? of course I never stayed within the lines either...
