Hey all,
I have a Newton 2100 that I bought a few years ago and ever since I
got it there have been marks where the previous owner (I think it was
a business that gave these to traveling salesmen or something) had
just worn the top layer of the screen down. It is all scratched up
from this and while I can live with it (and have been) it is still
kind of annoying.
I was talking with a friend recently who recommended ever so
carefully using a micro-abrasive on it to wear off the wear on the
screen. That seems like a bad idea, I don't want to to wear through
the thin plastic film and make part of the screen not functional.
But, is there a solution to this that is safer and has been tried?
I've used screen protectors I got at the same time ever since I got
it so I haven't been adding to the wear at least...
thanks,
Matt Follett
