Isn't Perl wonderful? :)

I'll test these out and let you know, Victor.

Oh please. 100 lines of Perl and some fudging around in NTK later, here we
are. Who wants to be my guinea pig?

I created packages from the US and Canadian holiday files. Read instructions
and download them here:

http://www.chuma.org/index.php/newton/holidays-redux/

Installing the package /should/ add the dates to Dates, and removing the
package /should/ remove the dates. I don't use my Newton anymore and it's at
home so I can't try them out. Standard caveats apply: if you miss your kid's
birthday, your wedding anniversary, or that important client meeting because
of this package, too bad. Seriously though, all this does is call the Date
app's AddEvent and DeleteEvent functions.

The events added all have (iCal) appended to the event title, to distinguish
them from something you might have created. Toad Hollow's Holidays package
did the same thing. Feel free to suggest a better tag if you think this one
sucks.

Send me feedback, reply here or just e-mail me. Once the kinks (if any) get
worked out I'll start generating more of these on request.
