For you perhaps. I rather pay $45, which is what I nearly make in an
hour in my regular job, than spend surely more time on gathering the
tools, understanding the pitfalls, finding and ordering the part(s),
etc. Plus, I may not want to worry about breaking something and then
being left with a non-working Newton, which to replace may take even
more time and money.

_I_ might not want to deal with the details and I might be just happy
to pay someone to do it for me instead of not getting it done at all.

So, please keep your voices down. It's OK to point out _alternatives_,
but this constant hostility is getting on my nerves. Let the customers
be the ones to choose if it's worth the money for them and get a
warranted service for it.
