Hi Mike,
Currently I know of no Siemens User Manual that's in English.
Use the OMP/MP100 User Manual to operate the Newton portion...

The NotePhone Specific Portion has really not much to it. I will try to see
if anyone in our department who is able to read German or natives can give
me a dry run at translation, maybe I'll see what I can do myself or
collaborate with Frank to get some sort of an English Version for NotePhone
Owners... we'll see... this will be another project on my Newton's TO DO
List...

1) Attach the Siemens OMP to the Siemens Modem and engage the Modem
Module/Power Connector.

2) Slip this Assembled Unit into the NotePhone Base making sure the docking
lip is correctly seated as to make full connection.

3) Attach the Handset to the Handset Cable to the NotePhone

4) Attach the Phone Cable to the NotePhone to the Wall Jack

4a) A Phone Cable will need an adapter - you can contact me off-list for
more details - I've got another friend in the TelComm field making me some 6
ft. US cables that are NotePhone specific which he is charging a flat rate
for... I've got no time to spend crimping cables and my previous request for
additional cable fell through :(
- At least I have one I'm using with my NotePhone as I type. It's not too
tough though - you just need the tools and know which wires (there are only
4 wires) that are active in your area/region and which adapter on top of
that. It's only an inconvenience for those not willing to do it themselves,
but of course if you've got someone who's able to make them
- Gosh it's like having an 'EASY BUTTON'. :-)

5) Attach an OMP/MP100/1x0 Older Adapter (7W) or you could use the
MP2x00/eMate 300 Newer Adapter (9W) - I would suggest rounding the Square
Corners as the NotePhone Socket is Round and if plugged in without
modification sometimes will pop out.

HTH any NotePhone Owners out there...
