From a recent conversation with Frank I gather it's a RAM issue.
* I had the same issue occur just last week.
It sounds like you don't have a RAM Upgrade Module.
- If you did I'd suggest you take it out...
- If don't then the fall might have damaged the RAM solder joints...
One thing you could try in power up the main board outside of the case but
all connected (If you adventuresome) and try flexing the main board. Since
you mention warping this may allow your eMate 300 to boot up at least. I'm
not sure if this is the right thing to do but I'm a bit unorthodox in my
methods...
If this proves to allow your eMate 300 to boot then it's one of three
options.
1) replace the main board
2) try your hand at intricate soldering
3) have Frank try his soldering skills (if he would consider it) or pay
someone with the skills and tools to do such soldering.
