This is a bit of a weird (and almost desperate) request:
In 2004 I bought a copy of Photoshow for Newton from Landware, which
they sent me by e-mail. Unfortunately, the first time round I got the
Mac version of X-Port, which doesn't do much for Mac-less me. On
request, Landware sent me the Windows version in a follow-up email.
Unfortunately, I have changed computers a couple of times since then,
and I'm unable to extract the X-Port program from my old mail backup.
There is something that has gone haywire with the mime-file.
I've asked Landware if they could send me a replacement copy by e-mail,
but my mail has not been answered (it's been three weeks now), hence my
unusal request to the group: is anyone willing to send me a copy of the
program in question ("X-Port-W.sit" is the archive name). Technically it
would be piracy, but the program itself is quite useless without the
Newton counterpart, and that part I obviously have. I'm willing to
provide proof of ownership, should that be necessary.
On the other hand, if anyone knows where I could contact a
representative from Landware directly, I could ask her/him the same
question. I'm sure they can still track my order #.
Thanks,
Karel Jansens
