Frankly, I'd be pretty surprised if there *were* a demo version, considering
that the retail version, which seems to have originally sold for $40, now
sells for $9.95:

Like you, I, too, usually make an effort to be a try-before-you-buy -type
guy. In this case, though, it hardly seems worth the effort. [shrugs]
