Re: [NTLK] Newton Bluetooth for newbies

First of all,
many thanks to the friends who promptly left his feedback to this
initiative!

As some people agreed to the "Bluetooth for newbies" initiative
(i got 3 requests actually), i have sent a mail to the German reseller
who promptly answered with estimation of costs when buying a lot of
10 or more cards.

For whom of you who doesn't like details, here below is the result of
my calculations:

Price X1 unit of Pico Pcmcia is 35.72usd (28,07eur) including
shipping cost.

If interested on getting your Pico Pcmcia
and to start the "Blunt experience" on your Newton
please just respond to this mail.

A quick note:
Pico Pcmcias are cosmetically green coloured
and they amazingly matches colour of eMate's plastic!

I cannot make photos of my own setup exactly now,

Now starting with the detailed report about cost:

[Money exchange rate from euros to dollars is the one applied by Paypal.
If you own a Paypal account and use both euros and dollars balances,
just click the "Transfer" link on the "Balance" section on "My
Account" Paypal page
to check the values reported as follows]

  - X10 Pico Pcmcia: 213.70usd (174,20eur)
  - Shipping (to me) X10 units: 30.70 (25,00eur)
  - Bank transfer to "guru2000": FREE (i am going to keep this cost
for myself as a sort of small donation. Please accept it with no
comments, cause i simply love NTLK and Newtonians)

Here we get that the total payment which i would have to send to the
re-seller
would be of 244.40usd (199,20eur).

Then once i get the package with the Pico pcmcias,
i would then re-package and re-ship each unit,
and this procedure will put additional cost to your order.

The additional cost for shipping each unit is 10.00usd (8,15eur)
which includes handling, packaging and 5-7 working days shipping.

At this point the total payment i would need to get to place a order
X10 units
would be of 344.40usd (280,70eur) or 34.44usd (28,07eur) X1 unit
but a as i imagine you would prefer to send me your payment via paypal,
please add a 4% to the above cost, which is the tax applied by Paypal
to my business account,
and look at the cost X1 Pico Pcmcia becoming 35.72usd (28,07eur).

Note that i paid my Pico Pcmcia by the same seller ~40,00eur time ago,
so i think that the price we are getting here could be considered
somewhat cheap.
