It's held up OK for me, except the Velcro closure. The loop side is
getting a little worn (which is to be expected after all this time) and
the hook side is slowly coming loose (which isn't). Also, the elastic
retention loop has stretched out, but that's also to be expected, and
was easy enough to compensate for by re-adjusting the fit.

Actually, I think they just ran out of stock and decided not to make
any more. Landware's still around selling Palm stuff (and sharply
discounted Newton software).
There was a guy on this list around 1999 who was interested in starting
a venture to compete with the BurroPak -- he knew a manufacturer of
actual concealed-carry rigs willing to build them. But there wasn't
enough interest, and the idea quietly died. Another company started
making leather shoulder rigs for Palms and cell phones around the same
time, but I don't know what happened to them.
