Hello Tony
I use a MP 130 as my day to day newton and it works great.
I have a 110, 2000 and an emate but I love the size (its smaller than
the 2000 and emate) and design of the 130. It also works great with
a mac on os X with some 3rd party free software. It has an actual
serial port, IR and a PCMCIA card slot.
Now for the bad news (but don't let this put you off).
The 130 can't use NIE 2.0, this mean no WiFi, no ethernet
and no anything else thats not an old fashioned modem, oh and not
a 56k one either. The exceptions to this are wireless modems but
the networks that support this are long gone... and where only
in America from what I can gather.
The screen is black or green no fancy 16 grays like the eMate
and MP2X00. And it can't do MP3s either as the processor is far
to slow, i intend to overclock mine but I don't think this will make
and difference in terms of MP3s.
I love mine so if you get one and need any help drop me a line!
