It won't work.
All companies that supplied services for this device have either disappeared or have refused to support the Newton in any possible way. I personally has a conversation with the head of Go America which purchased DTS way back when and he told me that even if you CAN get service to the card, their back-end servers will not support a Newton connection plain and simple...and he even told me that they were putting in place software that would recognize a Newton on the other end and would specifically reject the Newton connection. He said that they needed to do this because there was no way to monitor the Newton in a metered service subscription environment. ...so other than a museum piece, the AllPoints card, with it's distinctive gold antenna is basically worthless when it comes to the Newton!
For details on past conversations regarding this product, check out the NewtonTalk archives...there was plenty said about this in the past that makes for interesting historical reading!

Hi, I'm new to this site and its been very useful.

Does any one have a 'Megahertz ALLpoints Card' for sale
I'm running a newton 130 and would like to get one working.
I appreciate that its more than likely of no use in the uk but
to see how one works would be good.

My 130 unfortunately can't take a wireless card or ethernet (as far
as I know)
I do have a MP2000, MP110 and an eMate, but i prefer my 130 for day
to day
use.

If any one has one then please let me know what you want
for it and we can sort it out by paypal .

In this case I was trying for Engadget.com, and instead wound up at www.edgadget.com which appears to have lots of Newton software.
