My shipment of eMates (yeah... I ended up buying 5 thinking I could resell)
arrived today. I'm planning on doing hinge repair (hopefully it will
actually be preventative maintainence) on all of them. I'm a little confused
though on what's really necessary. My plan was to add some grease to the
hinges, and place a washer over the top. However I've read a lot of accounts
which seem to suggest that the whole thing needs to be pulled apart and the
hinges completely disassembled.
Is this really necessary? I don't doubt my ability to do the procedure, but
I want some advice from those who have done the operation. What's the best
solution?
thanks
