To that end I'm considering putting a page up with either tecniques on how
to crack these programs
or information on how to contact the developers
Specifically right now, Tactile system's Newt FTP, Chat Buddy, and Hiroshi
Noguchi's wavelan
drivers. If any of these people contact me, of course I'd take the
information down, but right now the
issue is as you've said, many of these apps have no alternatives. I'm not a
programer, so coding my own
at present seems unlikely.
Any assistance from Newton programers would be appreciated.
It's not a matter of wanting a free lunch (for example, I believe
Newtscape's author may still be active
and accepting payment), it's a matter of wanting some basic functionality
for our Newts
Comments? Thoughts?
Any ideas on tools that can be used to this end would also be appreciated.
