First off, is it possible that your base station is blocking the card
based on its MAC address? I spent ages buggering about with mine
until I remembered I had to "pair" it with the station first.

If you're sure that's not the case, then if at all possible try the
card in a laptop with a pcmcia slot to be sure the card itself is
working.

Can't be much more help than that, I'm afraid.
