I would say no. I would be inclined to say it is a heap or an extension issue. Make sure you have the latest NOS 2.1 patch installed (710031)-1. Take a look at what else you have installed and running. Try freezing unneeded stuff.

Download and install Avi's Backdrop. It has a nice heap meter.
