[NTLK] Follow-up to my connectivity question--would this work?

I see on eBay someone is selling a Newton 2000/2100 network PCMCIA card
with a dongle/cable combindation. The dongle is on one end of an Ethernet
cable. Will this serve to provide connectivity to load software and move
items back and forth (iBook running OX X 10.4.8)(I have to use the classic
environment, right)? Or should I be patient and hold out for the
interconnect dongle? Thanks.
