Absolutely !
Once you installed the right packages and you got hold of the right card
(like the Pico PCMCIA card used in my example), the Newton will be seen
by MacOS X (or Windows) just like another BT device. No special utility
required on the desktop side.

File exchange works fine, i.e.
www.40hz.org is the place to be for the BT stuff.
But, just concentrate for the moment on the first step : getting the MP
in touch with the desktop, in order to get the packages you need on it.
