If you think that this will work, then you truly don't understand how $Jobs operates. The ego of this man is such that no amount of cajoling by the unwashed masses (us) would be able to sway the arrogance of the turtle-necked one. $J firmly believes that not only does he know what we need and want regardless of what we say, he will force-feed us his preference until we capitulate or at least acknowledge that it's $J's way or you're an idiot, pure and simple. He truly suffers from the "not invented here (meaning by $J) syndrome".
  Sorry for sounding bitter, but I can't take someone seriously who takes fashion tips from Johnny Quest.
