[NTLK] OT: OSX 10.4 CD install problem

Okay, my brother gave me the 10.4 install cds, and they boot up to the
install screen on my G4 450DP (Sawtooth). However, when the
installation begins, it just says error and gives you an only option to
restart. Tried it a few times, customized the install, etc, but to no
avail. It's currently installing fine on my G3 iMac 500 DV and I'm
gonna try my clamshell G3 ibook. Anyone have any clue as to why it
won't work on my G4? Permissions were repaired after first attempt just
to be sure.
