If I could just briefly interject a point I just made in a long-winded
way in another thread: I just tried writing on an iPhone-sized area of
the Newton screen with my fingertip. I think it could work quite
well, assuming the screen is sensitive enough that you can use very
light pressure (obviously the Newton screen isn't). So I think they
could put Inkwell into the iPhone and tweak it to do fingerwriting
recognition. That would be very cool, IMHO.
