Hi all,

I've wrote an article on the discussions
here about whether the iPhone is a worthy
successor to the Newton. It got published
by Telepolis, a German internet magazine (German
only link, sorry):

http://www.heise.de/tp/r4/artikel/24/24450/1.html

My conclusion is that the iPhone indeed promises
to be a very interesting device, and that it indeed could
be seen as a successor to the Newton, with one
noteable exception: text.

Best,

Marcus
