David MacNeill's "Newton Notes" column in Pen Computing Magazine, which
was introduced about the same time as the original Newton MP and ended
when the Newton was killed off, is archived here:

        http://www.pencomputing.com/Newton/

Reading this gives an interesting perspective since, rather than having
a purely historical bent, it is a chronicle of the joys and
frustrations of an avid Newton user during the original life of the
product with no foretelling of what the future had in store.

It should give you an idea of what the veteran Newton users in this
group were feeling and experiencing during the Newt's "Heyday".

Hope it's useful.
