Sure you can make it as a book. But in that format you are not going to
be able to do anything with it (modifications etc). You might consider
using a Newton Works document if you want it to be editable. If you see
any slowdown in Works performance you might consider breaking it up into
several files if the speed is a issue. You can import the text file
directly into a Works document using NCU (providing you can use
classic). Another method would be emailing it to yourself with Simple
Mail or Mail V then moving it over to Works from there.

If you only "want to have it with you" for reference then a Newtonbook
would probably be the best way. Using press it will only take you 2
minutes to drop the text file into press and make a package to download
to your Newton.
