As Riccardo mentions, the Newton is not actually a "discoverable"
BlueTooth device, so you'll want to initiate the pairing from the
Newton once it has "discovered" the G4.

The error codes and Newton resetting itself sounds like you may be
running Syspatch on your Newton. It seems to cause some conflicts with
Blunt, but freezing the package or deleting it will solve most of
those issues.
