[NTLK] A Newbie question please

Good day to each of you.
I'm new here and need to ask a question or two.
First, I'm a huge Apple fan, have been for many a year.
Never got to own a Newton or eMate however.

I am now beginning in a business whereas I could use a portable
device, my 17" MBP is too big,
and bring to clients homes for data collection.

I would then like to "sync" this data to my Desktop Mac into records
such as File Maker Pro.

Would a eMate help? A newton. Etc????
